My team and I skated across the USA to raise awareness and funds for at-risk and low income youth in San Diego. I have seen the benefits mentoring can have on youth through my involvement with Club Xcite, a youth mentoring organization based out of San Diego. The purpose of this skate adventure is to raise money to support of Club Xcite and San Diego Youth Services, a non-profit organization supporting homeless, abused and at-risk youth. I believe that providing consistent and quality mentoring opportunities can make meaningful and positive changes to at-risk and challenged youth.

The money raised will be donated to SDYS and to provide Club Xcite mentoring services to their youth.

We skated relay style from the West Coast to the East Coast. To do this, we  averaged 150 miles a day, 30 miles a day per rider. We filmed much of the trip and will post more videos to the site via our blog. Anyone and everyone can help in different ways and all support is much appreciated. Anywhere from donating to spreading the word throughout communities and companies, you are giving us a chance to promote our cause. This trip was an incredible feat and an amazing experience, we hope to it again. Stay tuned on this site, and feel free to check out the blog and photos that will be posted as we skated across America!
